A recent survey by Kantar Emor has named Smart-ID as the most customer-friendly mobile application in Estonia, surpassing even popular global apps like Facebook and Instagram. Participants of the survey praised Smart-ID, citing its ease of use and overall satisfaction with the app.
The survey, which examined 125 mobile apps used by Estonians, evaluated apps based on how satisfied users were with their experience and how easy they found the apps to use. Smart-ID outperformed all other apps in these aspects, surpassing even well-regarded global apps like Swedbank, Shazam, and Waze, as well as local favourites such as Bolt and Apollo Kino.
People value simplicity, reliability, and smooth functionality in mobile applications. In a digital landscape where Estonians spend an average of three hours daily on their mobile phones, primarily on social media, news portals, and music streaming, Smart-ID has managed to stand out by providing a simple, trustworthy and smooth user experience.

The Kantar Emor survey was conducted between December 5 and 12, 2024, with 1,213 Estonian residents aged 16 and older participating. The study included a wide range of mobile applications from both Estonian and international businesses. Find the survey here.
